1969 Chevrolet C10

THIS… is a 1969 Chevrolet C10, finished in black with a black and red interior. This truck has been restored, according to the seller. Although it’s titled in California as a 1969 Chevrolet C10, the build is based on a customized 2005 Chevrolet Silverado HD chassis with a Duramax 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8 engine, Allison 5-speed automatic transmission, and a part-time 4-wheel drive system. A partial list of notable currently installed equipment reported by the seller includes an EFILive engine management system, an aftermarket turbocharger, 20-inch TIS Offroad wheels, KYB Excel-G shocks, TMI Products seats, Vintage Air air conditioning, and aftermarket parts in the sound system. Chevrolet unveiled the second-generation C/K truck for the 1967 model year. The range included several models, including two- and four-wheel-drive variants, and Chevrolet made several comfort-related improvements to the C/K to cater to the growing number of motorists who used a pickup as a daily driver. The second-generation C/K also spawned the original Blazer. Production ended in 1972. Power comes from a 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8, rated at 310 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque in stock form.
